Davis is a well-known face around the Spartans campus. She was most recently the Assistant Volleyball Coach from June 2021 to December 2023 and Associate Head Coach for the Spartans since January of 2024.

“We are excited for Coach Davis to continue her journey at the University of Dubuque,” stated Nelson Edmonds, Vice President of Student Engagement and Intercollegiate Athletics. “She has been instrumental as a player and coach in developing the culture of our volleyball program and contributing to the success we have seen. Her leadership will allow us to continue to live our Mission through our sport programs and the young people we work with each day.”

Davis was a four-time letterwinner on the Spartans volleyball squad. As a graduate assistant, she helped guide the Spartans to back-to-back American Rivers Conference Tournament Championships and back-to-back berths in the NCAA Division III National Championships in 2018 and 2019. “I am grateful for the opportunity from President Dr. Jeffrey Bullock and Nelson Edmonds who believe in me to continue to grow the University of Dubuque volleyball program,” commented Karrah Davis. “This program and the University are very special to me, I look forward to leading our program in the competitive American Rivers Conference, and reaching new heights regionally and nationally.  “

Davis has been involved in the community as a coach for Iowa Select Volleyball Club, Iowa High Performance Team, and Dubuque Elite Volleyball Club. She is an adjunct professor and advisor to the NCAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee since 2019.

Davis, a native of Dubuque, Iowa, received her undergraduate degree in health wellness and exercise science with a coaching endorsement at the University of Dubuque in 2018 and her master’s in Management/Sports Management in 2020.
